  • Pat Vizina (Thode') says:

I remember very well when Ray Bottse asked the main windsurfers from Bonaire, Juni, Irwin, Genaro, Elvis, and Patun all to windsurf from Curacao to Coro(sp?), Venezuela. It turned into a long journey for the guys but they made it! Across shark infested waters all the way to Venezuela, when they were supposed to race off shore, then get on boats and get off and race into the beach at Coro. Our Bonaireans made it and we had a blast eating out in the small village. 1987 or early 1988?
